RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep the bar fully stocked with glassware, napkins, straws, plastic to-go cups and lids
• Prepare the garnishes (bar fruit, cherries, olives etc); label and date garnish containers
• Change out beer kegs when requested by bartender or manager
• Clean drink spills, sweep broken glass, mop areas as needed
• Throughout shift check on trash and recycling, empty to dumpster as needed, replace garbage bag
• Refill ice wells as needed during shift
• Organizing and shelving all beer, liquor and wine deliveries upon arrival
• Stocking all bar juices, purees and syrups throughout the shift
• Cleaning and re-stocking all juices, purees and syrups at end of shift
• Assisting the bartender with other tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• ABC license
• Minimum 18 years of age or older
• Base knowledge of beer, liquor and wine
• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Able to use abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly and continuously, continuous walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, balancing and overhead lifting
• Able to work in all weather conditions

Position starts at $13/hr plus tip out from bartender

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bussers aim to support other team members by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring the availability of silverware and plates, and bringing guest’s needs to the attention of the servers. Bussers also restock necessary items throughout the shift and may also assist with dishwashing when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with and support servers in creating a memorable experience for our guests
• Greet customers and answer questions as needed
• Alert servers when table needs service
• Clean tables and remove dirty dishes, silverware and glasses after table has left
• Help servers reset tables
• Ensure availability of plates, silverware, glassware, napkins, take-out boxes and bags
• Be able to remain focused and present during shift

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not necessary
• Ability to work well with others and work well under pressure
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs at a time
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearance

Position starts at $11 per hour plus tip out from servers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The FOH Supervisor oversees daily operations of the restaurant and bar, this position requires substantial Food & Beverage knowledge and reports directly to the Food & Beverage Director and the Executive Chef. This role is an integral part of our restaurant team. Ideal candidate would strive to set an example for all other employees, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED
• ABC license
• ServeSafe training preferred
• 2+ years experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred
• Experience using POS systems
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances
• Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environments
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time
• Able to work some extended hours (early/late shifts, weekend shifts are required)

Host/Hostess presents a positive first impression of Kiwi’s Tiki Hut and Kiwi’s Kove to all of our guests with their friendly demeanor, excellent customer service and attention to detail. The Host/Hostess must be able to carry on natural conservations with our guests without sounding scripted.

Host/Hostess will greet guests upon their arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, show guests to their tables, present guests with menus while maintaining a positive attitude. In addition the Host/Hostess may be required to bus tables, run food and re-stock server stations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Service Bartenders are responsible for preparing all alcoholic drinks in accordance with Kiwi’s recipes and standards for our guests through our Serving staff. Service Bartender is expected to interact with Servers to ensure guest satisfaction regarding all alcoholic beverages. Service Bartenders are responsible for preparing garnishes for drinks, ensuring bar equipment is clean and well maintained, informing management of any issues with bar equipment, complying with all safety and hygiene standards and policies, monitoring bar inventory and restocking bar as needed before, during and after all shifts.

*PLEASE NOTE; this is a SERVICE bar position, there is no interaction with guests. The Service Bartender is responsible for producing a high volume of alcoholic beverages based on tickets rang in by servers.

Servers are required to know both the food and drink menus and to know the ingredients and side dishes of every menu item. Servers are required to take food and drink orders, deliver food and drink, check on guests, pre bus their tables and work together as a team to deliver guests with a great experience.
